WW: Who Needs Toys?

Who needs toys when Grandma's pocketbook is nearby?

Harrison found all sorts of fun things this time.

The photo brings other questions to mind, though:

How do toddlers squat so effortlessly and balance themselves?

At what age do we stop being able to do that?

I'd fall forward or backward doing that -- if I could even get all the way down to the squatting position to begin with!

We have to keep purses and the like out of reach for our 18 month old or everything would be out of the bag itself. Great picture! Happy WW!

Definitely provides lots of fun! A lot quieter than pots and pans, too! :D

There are serious treasures to be found in purses!

And even if I did manage to hold that position for more than a few seconds, I'd likely crack, squeak and pop my way back out of it.

Just darling!

That ability to crouch down like that seems to also go the way of all that boundless toddler energy!

Blessings!

I think it's because they move a lot and there bones are not yet so stiff then ours, lol and then they are much shorter too, we have to lift up a lot more. What a cute picture. Your purse's content must have been very interesting !

Purses are indeed fun for little ones. I so remember.

They are limber that's why. They have new joints, muscles and ligaments. They don't have the injuries that we have encountered. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Have a terrific day. :)

Toddlers are also quite limber, too. Have you seen how far back they can pull their legs when they're lying on their backs?

Thanks for stopping by my WW post :)

He's adorable! My guy likes to dig in my purse and eat my chapstick.

Thanks for the comment at Deep South Moms!

If I did that, I'd still be down there hoping something of equal interest would come along after the bag went away!

LOL, so would I!

This may explain why he wants to empty the contents of all the bags around the house now!! He squats like that a lot around the house. If I could do that, for the amount of time that he does, I would have awesome legs!

Haha, this is cute! When my kids were toddlers, they loved playing with empty cans and rummaging through my purse.
