What is This?

What is this? The answer ESCAPES me. It has wheels but it's not an AUTOMOBILE. Nor is it a baby carriage.

Does anyone know? It's about two feet tall and is primarily brass. And, yes, it is very dusty in these photos.

eastcoastlife said...: Looks like a dim sum trolley. I have seen a similar one at an old dim sum restaurant in Singapore.

The bamboo trays of dim sum are placed on top. The containers at the side are for sauces and cutlery.

The one I saw is bigger in size and has a steamer below.

This one you own has a glass door which I presume keeps the fried dim sum in there so diners can see and select.
