PH: It's About Music!

This week's Photo Hunt theme is "music."  This, I thought, would be easy because I've played piano, keyboard and organ for years - in restaurants, lounges and churches; for weddings, banquets, parties, conventions and such; and in places ranging from here in South Carolina to Gatlinburg, Phoenix and Chicago.  But, alas, there were so few pictures of music!

I hurriedly took a few shots of some of the music I play on Thursday nights at Ivory Moon.  After doing that, I remembered a few photos that fit the music theme (and even including grandson Harrison), so I'm sharing a variety.

"Crocodile Rock"

"Great Balls of Fire"

"My Girl"

"Downtown"

"Pretty Woman"

Here's a small antique children's piano, followed by a piano trinket.

I introduced grandson Harrison to the piano when he was not quite eight months old!  He seems to be getting the hang of it, don't you think?  Notice the placement of the fingers!  :)

Those were taken in November of last year, so this grandma decided to give him a piano for Christmas.  Here's Harrison with his last year's Christmas present.

Look at that boy! He's got a nice head start on becoming a piano player.

Be careful...booster seats often are covered with crumpled saltine crackers.

Well, after dining out.

Nice posting.

Great choices for the theme and I love the toddler at the piano.

I have some of the same sheet music you showed. I used to play Downtown on the piano when I was in high school.

Your grandson looks cute, Sherry. The way his piano looks and he's dressed though, it seems he's going more the pop than classical music route! ;b

These are great examples of music - particularly love that Harrison! Wonder if he'll grow up to be a musician. :-)
