The really unique thing about the Pfunky Griddle is that each table has a heated griddle in the middle. If you order the all-you-can-eat pancakes, for example, the waitress brings a pitcher of batter. All kinds of toppings are available. Each person cooks his or her own pancakes (or eggs or French toast or whatever) at the table.

(not so) Wordless Wednesday: Pflipping Out at the Pfunky Griddle
The Dawg and I made a quick trip (1100+ miles) to Nashville to pick up some things from Tiffany, one of my daughters. On Tuesday morning, she introduced us to a place in Nashville called the Pfunky Griddle. It's a house converted into a restaurant. In the picture above, tree trunks and limbs stand out but blend in with the mural on the walls. Those are real branches near the ceiling and some real trunks in the corners.

Looks like a fun place to me. If you can eliminate the cook all the better.
Have a terrific day. :)
The griddle-in-the-table thing sounds like fun. If I'm lucky enough to go to Nashville next year, I'll have to check it out.
Now that sounds like a fun place to eat.
How very cool! I wish we had a place like that here. Was the food good?

Oh, I'd LOVE to go there! Thanks for visiting my blog. I like the title of yours!
Love that table!
We have a restaurant here called Fat Sandwich. You can get a shirt that has a big F on it with a circle around it. Down here in OK you know we hate Texas...one of the more popular shirts says F Texas.
That looks like a pfun place to go! :-) If I'm ever in Nashville, I'll check it out.
What a cool and uniquely fun place to go!
I definitely want to go to that place. I have a friend in Nashville I'm going to tell her about it. Now I want pancakes.
fun, my family loves pancakes. Thanks for stopping by
What a quaint little place. It looks lovely! I wish we had restaurants like that around these parts...
That must be fun ! would be a restaurant for me !
If I'm ever in Nashville, I'll definitely check out this place!
Hugs and blessings,
If I gotta go to a restaurant to cook my own meal, THEY are going to pay ME for it.
I like your blog, btw. You are one of the few politicians (albeit an "ex") that I know who actually THINK. And have a sense of humor. Wanna come to NY?!
That looks pretty cool. If I'm ever in Nashville I'll have to check it out.
This is so cool! A house converted into a restaurant is really cozy. We also have something like that here. :)
