(almost) Wordless Wednesday: Flowertown USA

Welcome to Summerville, SC, known as "Flowertown in the Pines." This weekend is our annual Flowertown Festival, which will feature arts, crafts, music, food -- and flowers, of course. All of these photos were taken on Main Street.

Happy WW! Truly remarkable photos. This seems like a wonderful town to visit...

I invite your blog readers to see what happens when you combine fruit, a pocket knife and some imagination...

So beautiful! My husband and I have always said if we were going to move out of the northeast, it'd be to either NC or SC. This is why!

Some town. But the residents don't seem to have much to say. Quiet, but not really unfriendly... just a little standoffish.

Lovely series! We have a month or more before we'll see many flowers.

Wow! What lovely pics. We really do live in paradise. (Until the blazing summer heat and humidity set in, anyway!)

Makes my eyes water and my nose itch just looking at all of those pretty flowers.

Mojo: I'm guessing you were referring to the flowers and trees as the residents who are "standoffish." Hope so, 'cause this is one of the friendliest towns I've ever been in. I moved here in 2001 and totally adore the people and the place.

Hey, this is a great story - you might like our meme at Tell Me Thursday - you can make your WW really wordless and STILL tell the story! Give it a try!

Each is a lovely view ... some would double for Shadow Shot Sunday and others for Today's Flowers ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
